Literature

quote seen on ashinine
I'm busy in the studio this week finishing a custom order of 144 aprons and my mind has begun to wander to all the things I want to do when the order is finished - like reading a book again.
I love the quote above; my favorite book is Adventures in Understanding by David Grayson. Even though he wrote it nearly 100 years ago, the small moments and simple truths found in the book still resonate with me today. This truly is one of the beauties of literature. I'd love to know...what is your favorite book? or two?

Hi Samantha, I found your blog recently and now catch up with in Google Reader. I love books so it's hard to pick just two but in saying that my long-standing top two would be The Soul Of The World - A Modern Book of Hours (edited by Phil Cousineau / photographs by Eric Lawson) and The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand...
Gaby - So nice to be introduced to your work; I love the sketchbook posts on your blog.
I've never heard of The Soul of the World; thanks for the recommendation!
