Simple Shapes

As I'm working on wholesale work this week, I'm keeping a notebook close by to jot down ideas for new products and patterns. One of the joys of working through a large wholesale order is that my mind is free to wander, to think in new ways. Most of my patterns tend to be nature-inspired, but in my own home I'm often drawn to either a lack of pattern or shape-based patterns, and I'm finding that some of my recent sketches are shape-based as well: lines, circles, squares, triangles.
